Cherokee Angel Senior Care is a minority own senior care service company. Our central mission is to empower seniors and disabled adults in Georgia to maintain their independence, whether they choose to stay in their own homes or reside in assisted living facilities. CORE COMPETENCIES
Personal Care Home – Cherokee Angel offers a protective environment with round-the-clock supervision and dedicated companionship. Our services include assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), medication management, and support for managing incontinence when needed.
Subcontracted Personal Care Home – Cherokee Angel assists Medicaid waiver recipients in finding suitable placements within personal care home environments. We offer comprehensive training related to all Personal Care Home requirements to ensure compliance with DCH and HFR policies. Our team also provides supervision and oversight to sub-contractors involved in client care, ensuring that they adhere to the provisions and standards of Personal Care Home services.
Adult Day Care & Day Health – Cherokee Angel offers daytime supervision that includes socialization, engaging recreational activities, and specialized programs for memory and cognition. We also provide respite care that provides relief for caregivers and personal care services tailored to seniors’ needs. Additionally, we assist with medication re-minders and, if necessary, administer medications to ensure seniors’ well-being.
Private Home Care – Cherokee Angel provides private home care services for individuals who wish to age in the comfort of their own homes. This service enables seniors within the community to maintain their independence while receiving the same level of care typically associated with a personal care home.
Respite Care – Our respite care services offer just that – a compassionate, professional break for caregivers. Whether it’s for a few hours or a few days, we step in with expert care, ensuring your loved ones are in safe, caring hands. Our goal is to support your caregiving journey, prevent burnout, and promote a balanced, healthy lifestyle for both you and your family. Training and Consulting – Cherokee Angel Senior Care provides a comprehensive range of training and consulting services to support personal care homes and assisted living facilities in meeting training compliance requirements and enhancing staff retention. Our training program encompasses various certifications, including Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Proxy Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Medication Assistant (CMA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), as well as CPR/First Aid certification.
