Security Guard Training for Class D/G License

The Haitian Community Workforce Development Program, in partnership with Spectrum Florida Security, provides comprehensive training to help you qualify for your Class D (unarmed) and Class G (armed) Security Officer Licenses. With these certifications, you’ll be prepared for both unarmed and armed security roles, with an 80% chance of securing full-time employment.

Eligibility Requirements

Class D License

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, legal resident, or have work authorization.
  • Must complete 40 hours of training from a licensed school.

Class G License

  • Must hold a Class D license or similar security certification.
  • Must complete 28 hours of classroom and firearms training.
